Cheers and thank you to Dana, Guest Service Manager at Siena, for her ingenuity and positivity!

Dana shares, “With the lack of P2 Soft Wax, I’ve been encouraging Guests and Designers to try Tela Play. The ingredients between the two are similar. So I want to share some insights on comparing the two with my Designers.”

Great job Dana on supporting your team!! Here are the insights Dana shared with her Design team…
- Tela Play has a much lighter feel than P2 Soft Wax overall. Both are highly concentrated and can be used on wet or dry hair but they have a different finish, meaning Play is lighter and almost feels more at one with the hair.
- Soft Wax absolutely must be mixed (in the palm of hands) with a different product for application on a wet to dry hair blowout. Whereas Play does not require that, but it can be mixed with another product if the Designer wishes.
- Also on dry hair, Soft Wax is a little more limited than Play. Soft Wax is wonderful as a thick pomade on wet, damp or dry short cropped styles, such as men’s short cuts or women’s choppy pixies, medium to thick density hair, not fine or sparse hair.
- Tela Play can be used in this exact same way but Play really has unlimited creativity options such as for sculpting and finishing updo work, braiding and more. And can be used on almost every texture depending on the amount applied.
