Throwback trends contrast trailblazing ingredients for Spring 2026. This season, nostalgic hair trends emerge but with a futuristic hair conditioning assist from neoteric ingredient technology. This Spring’s vintage styling resurgence gets us inspired. We are now celebrating our 60th year in business and almost that length of time creating haircare products as well. So, we absolutely love that old Hollywood styles are back in vogue and we’ve added our fresh take on them, like our featured model’s Victory Roll updo incorporating her beautiful natural texture.
Additionally, we also love the results we are seeing and positive feedback from clients and stylists alike about how our styling products do so much more than hold or shape the hair. Even model’s themselves have shared with us that their hair actually feels better after a day at one of our photoshoots. So this season’s hair trends really merge those two themes while innovative ingredients take styling products from pretty to performance.
The glamourous hairstyles worn by 1940’s silver screen sirens such as Rita Hayworth, Lauren Bacall and Ava Gardner are being reincarnated with a new modern twist for Spring 2026. Vintage or retro hairstyles have been on full display on fashion runways and red carpets alike, such as at 2026 Golden Globe Awards.
One of those hallmark styles is the Vintage Sculpted Updo. For Spring 2026, we see this trend as a 1940’s sculpted updo glam combined with a dash of now popular for 2026, windswept texture. The look is not perfectly neat and tidy like the 40’s styles but instead has a hint of messy updo to it. This season’s vintage updos like Victory Rolls, French Twists, Beehives and Bouffants are soft and touchable, elegant and glamorous, yet looser or lived in.
