There are a few unlikely alliances for Fall 2025 style and product innovation trends.  Hair trends are at opposite ends of the style spectrum, ranging from dramatically coiffed to understated and undone.  While ingredient technology and consumer demand for multifunctional, time saving products make for a perfect pairing.

This season, styling becomes the focus with precision crafted updo’s starring opposite low maintenance relaxed waves.  Then there’s the battle of the parts.  Short boxed bobs with side parts compete with long sleek styled hair with center parts.  But the partnership between polar opposite hairstyling and analogous product trends make for some off the charts amazing looking hair.

One of the coolest hair trends to make its comeback in 2025 are pin up girl, big volume hairstyles, first made popular in the 1940’s and 50’s.  Historically called Victory Rolls, Back Rolls and Low Pompadours, then models Brigitte Bardot and Betty Paige helped make these styles all the rage in their time.  But such an elegant hair trend was sure to make several styling comebacks including for Fall 2025.

For this season these retro styles have a modern twist, especially when it comes to the styling products.  These styles require products with the multifunctionality and ease of use today’s consumer and Stylist demands.  So we are recommending our P2 by Philip Pelusi Fluid Spray to create these updo styles.

Of course, its best if these updo styles can be created by an expert Stylist.  But especially if achieving these looks at home, today’s consumer needs a mistake proof spray.  Our P2 Fluid Spray has good style memory and a light hold so it can be brushed through for any adjustments that need to be made when rolling pompadours or when building the updo as a whole.

P2 Fluid is the wunderkind of styling sprays.  First, it is incredible for any type of setting; curling iron, hot rollers or Velcro.  Working in sections around the head, mist P2 Fluid on one section at a time, then wrap the hair around.  Then, let set a second or two around a curling iron and a couple of minutes, or longer is desired, for rollers.  It works great with or without a hooded drier too.  Next unwrap the hair, let cool.

Then once you finish creating your look, add a dash of P2 Fluid Spray to lightly hold the whole look in place.  Or for a firmer hold reach for our P2 by Philip Pelusi Rivet Medium Hold Spray or P2 Industrial Holding Spray.
